Melchioni Motion’s participation in Sima 2019 has consolidated our position on the market of mobile air conditioning systems. A process that started in 2018 when the company started collaborating with international agents and distributors.
The Paris-based exhibition counts over 230,000 visitors and almost 1,800 exhibitors. An important showcase for the European agricultural world and an excellent opportunity to give visibility to Melchioni Motion’s brand and products.
Major manufacturers have showcased new machines that will make the future of the agricultural industry. These machines are equipped with new high-energy efficiency engines and state-of-the-art IoT systems to ensure Precision Agriculture.
In this context of great technological evolution, Melchioni Motion has presented two major innovations at Sima.
We’re talking about the new roof-integrated air conditioning system for agricultural applications, complete with a pressurising and filtering system up to the CAT4 class.
The other innovation is the new EC-CAN climate control unit, which allows the air conditioning systems to be integrated in the BUS CAN and/or LIN protocols.
This solution provides multiple benefits, such as:
- Climate control, creating specific screens on one of the displays on board the vehicle;
- Possibility to configure and optimise the climate control system’s performance based on the type of application;
- The vehicle’s electrical system is simpler;
- Diagnostic function integration with the possibility to communicate data via IoT to optimise system maintenance.
These innovations obtained a huge success. Delegations of major manufacturers visited our stand and gave extremely positive feedback on our innovations.
Based on this positive experience, Melchioni Motion will be at Bauma 2019 (Hall A5, Booth 506), which will take place in Munich from 8 to 14 April.
Bauma is a major event for the market of earth-moving machines. Melchioni Motion will be attending the event to present also a new cabin simulator, where to test the functions of the new EC-CAN within the management of a climate control system.
